Mathilde is the most reliable companion you will find to take you away on the road, we guarantee you won't sleep better in any other van and you will struggle to find a camper that is better equipped for off grid living with a top of the range power setup. The Mercedes Sprinter is the most converted base van for campervans for a reason - it is reliable, sturdy and smooth. This van has spared no expense on the leisure systems installed. 525W of solar panels and a Victron solar charger, Truma combi 4E heater/boiler, Victron 50a alternator charger, air compressor to quickly inflate boats or furniture, huge garage area, hot outdoor and indoor showers, spade, axe and ladder, storage everywhere, underslung LPG gas tank for cooking and water heating, 3 gas safety detector, very stable ride from sumosprings, 82 litres of fresh water on board (no worries using the van in freezing temperatures) and a 70 litre underslung waste water tank, spinning front captains chairs, 4 three point seatbelts and 4 bed spaces, outdoor furniture included and even inflatable boats if requested! Sleeping - there is a giant bed in the rear of the van (180cm wide by 200cm long) with an fantastically thick and comfy sprung memory foam mattress. This can sleep 2 adults and 1 child comfortably. There is also an optional 1 person memory foam bed (70cm wide by 170cm long) that can be quickly slid out from storage and fitted over the front seats. The whole van is lined with thick insulation and acoustic felt and has blackout blinds/curtain so you can have a lovely lie in. The advanced Truma heater will silently maintain the temperature through the night, no loud clicking/blowing sounds like you will get from the cheap diesel heaters in most vans. Cooking - you will have everything you need to cook - all crockery and cutlery, pots and pans will be on board as well as cleaning tools. There is a wide 2 burner hob and sink unit with hot running water and 82 litres of freshwater goes far. The fridge/freezer is a large 65 litres and you have a Maxxfan extractor to remove any cooking odour/smoke. Shower and toilet - you have a chemical toilet in a separate shower/toilet cubicle that avoids the cold night air for any night time wees, and the indoor shower has a powerful spray. There is also an outdoor shower from the rear doors of the van which is very useful for washing off yourselves, equipment, pets and shoes. Hot water is supplied directly from the Truma combi boiler and is ready to go after only 15 minutes of turning on. Lounge and dining - the front seats swivel to face the rear seats and there is a table that quickly pops up to fit in between them so you can have a proper meal together with the views out of the windows on either side. Driving - this is a modern van and it has all the modern features you would expect of this - cruise control, reversing beeper, bluetooth speakers, adjustable seating, airbags, electronic safety devices. It is a very stable ride due to the installed Sumosprings and the bulletproof Mercedes engine pulls strongly. You won't be breaking down in this van like you might do in some others, it has had an annual service every year and we have a proactive approach to vanlife - get it fixed before its gone wrong is the rule! Charging and lighting - there are USB ports all over the van and you have 240V plug sockets for hair dryers, laptops etc. The inverter is 2000W so that handles any device you could want to power. I've been renting vans successfully for many years now so I know what people want and know what is key for people to have a great trip. I'm a very proactive and helpful host, I do my all to make sure no renter comes back disappointed.
