Demelza is ideally situated to explore the beauty of the West Country and beyond. We are based in Plymstock, on the outskirts of Plymouth. There is easy access to the South and North coast of Devon and Cornwall. The wild of Dartmoor are only a 20 minute drive away as is the South Hams. Alternatively you may decide to visit the rugged cliffs and moorland of Exmoor, approximately 1.5hr trip. We have left on board various guides and books to enhance your travelling experience. Our aim is to provide you with everything you may require to have a hassle free and relaxing break. Just bring towels and food and away you go! Demelza is set up for both on/off grid camping as she benefits from gas, electric and solar. The van is fully winterised and the central heating is very efficient so don’t be put off by the cooler months. We have fully kitted out the kitchen with everything you may require. Given the fact you have a full sized oven/grill and microwave any meal is possible. The van comes complete with awning mat, external lighting, table, chairs and bbq/hob perfect for alfresco dining and relaxing evenings. We are very fair and realise that this is a holiday rental van as well as our family motorhome. We don’t expect you to spend the whole of your precious downtime cleaning as this will be done on your return. We do however insist on a few ground rules to protect the motorhome for ourselves and future users. Smoking is not allowed in any areas of the van. We ask for outside footwear to be removed before entering the motorhome. One small well behaved dog is allowed to join you on your adventures but they are not allowed on any of the soft furnishing. On arrival you will find Demelza with a full tank of diesel/water and empty grey water tank and toilet cassette. Please return the van in the same fashion. Any serious damage to the internal or external of the vehicle including worktops, upholstery, fixtures and fittings have to be assessed and priced accordingly. The cost of the repair will be taken from the deposit and in compliance with Camplify’s rules. If you have any questions or enquiries please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Happy travels! Hiring rules

• No smoking inside the motorhome.
• Only one small, wellbehaved dog allowed.
• Awning not to be used in windy conditions. Or left out unattended.
• Insurance requirements: Hirer age restricted to 25 70 years; Driving licences restricted to UK, EU, EEA, AU and NZ; No more than 6 points in the past 5 years for nonmajor offences.
• Valid full driving licence.
• Only able for hire for a maximum of 4 adults or 2 adults and three children.
• No offroad or beach parking.
• Pick up is from our address PL9.
• No festivals, stag doo’s. Only for 4 adults or a large family.
• No European travel.
• 100 miles a day maximum travel. Additional miles will be charged at £0.30/mile.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  We were a family of 5 travelling to Dorset. The van was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Beau had great communication before and throughout our trip and both collection and hand back were smooth and without hitch. There was a problem with the electric bed not going back up, but Beau helped us as best as he could, and in the end, we were able to over come it and the bed could go back up, so it didnt dampen the trip at all. All in all, a fantastic van which gave us another fab long weekend away as a family. Thanks
