If you’re looking for a Llandudno campsite where you can walk into town, Tan Yr Allt Hall is the one for you. It’s just 0.7 miles/about 10 minutes’ walk from Llandudno’s pier, shops and cafés to the north, and the Blue Flag beach of Llandudno West Shore to the west. Conwy Castle is only a five minutes’ drive away.

This is a small, family-friendly site, edged by woodland and in an elevated setting with sea views and scenery of Great Orme. Book in advance to make sure of a pitch, as this lovely little place is in prime position for Llandudno camping sites.

Also near to town and with a handful of pitches among plenty of space is the second of our Llandudno camping sites, Tan Y Bryn Glamping and Touring. This campsite is 2.7 miles from Llandudno’s centre and 2.5 from West Shore Beach.

The touring park part of the site is made up of five large pitches for campervans, tourers and motorhomes, all with electric hook-up, waste water disposal point and water tap. Pitches also come with panoramic views of Llandudno and the North Wales coastline, overlooking the Great Orme with beautiful sunsets. The local pub is 15 minutes’ walk away.

It’s set in the little village of Llanddulas, 10 minutes’ walk from the village and a couple of minutes’ walk from the North Wales Coast Path. Llandudno is 7.5 miles away (catch the bus at Llanddulas to Llandudno or to Colwyn Bay if you’d like to leave your wheels behind for the day).
