The walk that the campsite is named after is just 500 metres from the grounds, and mountain biking is close by. The famously beautiful beach of Barmouth is within 10 miles: cycle there along the Mawddach Trail from nearby Dolgellau.

It’s a peaceful, back-to-nature site with an eco-conscious, wild camping approach, suitable for couples but not large groups or partiers. A bar and shop are in Dolwyddelan village five minutes’ drive away.
