Hiring rules

  • Insurance and Deposits
  • Standard insurance excess is £100.000.
  • Security Deposit is refunded within 28 days after return, minus any charges.
  • Vehicle Collection and Return
  • Collection time is usually 15:00.
  • Return time is usually 09:00 on the final day.
  • Late returns incur additional charges.
  • Vehicles must be returned clean, with the same full fuel level, empty waste tanks, and no personal belongings.
  • Travel Restrictions
  • Vehicles cannot be taken outside the UK without prior approval and additional cover.
  • Unauthorized international travel voids insurance and incurs penalties.
  • Damages and Charges
  • Hirers are responsible for various damages not covered by standard insurance.
  • Additional charges apply for cleaning, late returns, and traffic violations.
  • Damage to specific parts (e.g., windscreen, mirrors) may incur set replacement fees.
  • Other Important Points
  • Drivers must be 2574 years old and have held a license for at least 2 years.
  • Maximum 6 points on driving license allowed.
  • Smoking in the vehicle incurs a £500.00 charge.

Bond

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £1,000.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

Cancellations

Moderate

  • Cancel earlier than 31 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 11 and 30 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit.
  • Cancellations less than 11 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Just got back from 5 nights in bluey and I was very sad to hand him back! We made the most wonderful memories and cannot fault Niki and the whole process of hire. We will definitely be hiring again... until we can afford our own one :) Thanks for the memories x
