Hiring rules

  • UK Travel only.
  • The motorhome will be handed over with a full tank of fuel, please return with a full tank. Any shortages will be charged at current pump price, plus £20.00 refuelling charge.
  • Milage allowance is 100 miles per day average across your booking, eg 400 miles over a 4 day booking. Any excess mileage above this will be charged at 30p per mile.
  • The waste water tank must be emptied, and the toilet Cassette emptied and rinsed before return otherwise a £50.00 charge will be due for disposal of waste and cleaning.
  • No smoking please.
  • If you have a pet with you please use a blanket or throw before letting them on the seats as the van has recently been reupholstered. Any mess or damage from pets will incur a £75.00 cleaning fee, or possible reupholstering charge.
  • Please also ensure your dogs flea treatment is up to date.
  • Cleaning equipment (dustpan and brush, cloths, sprays and anti wipes etc) is provided, please return the motorhome in the same clean condition you collected it in, otherwise a £75.00 cleaning charge will apply. (We don't expect you to wash the exterior unless it has gotten unreasonably dirty)
  • All cutlery and crockery is provided, whilst we do understand accidents happen and sometimes damage is inevitable, in the event of any losses or damages please let us know in case the van is going straight back out on another hire.
  • Tea towels and bathroom hand towels are provided, but please bring your own towels should you wish to use the shower.
  • Bed linen is not provided.
  • Please make sure you refer to the renter manual located in the glove box for in depth instructions on all aspects of the motorhome.
  • Lost keys will be charged at the following rates:
  • Locker / handle keys £20.00
  • Ignition key £200.00
  • Most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Moderate

  • Cancel earlier than 31 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 11 and 30 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit.
  • Cancellations less than 11 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Absolutely love this van from start to finish such an easy pleasant transaction told me everything I needed to know sent me the itinerary video for anything they may have missed information wise on the van was clean tidy and very well stocked with everything you would need either on site or off grid it was so easy to use and set up and close down a dream to drive looking forward to the next hire thanks so much Leanne and Simon well oiled machine Sweeney is 10/10 thanks the jafar family

    We did 5 days off grid in Sweeney with our baby and it was absolutely perfect. All the luxuries and convenience of a camper that we needed. We had a lovely, comfortable stay. Simon and Leanne were responsive and so friendly, thank you so much!

    This camper van was great for our road trip to Scotland. We hired this for 4 days and we had constant communication with Simon and the handover video was extremely helpful. He even put happy birthday banners on for my partner! When we arrived we found out that the fridge didnt work but Simon was able to get us an electric cooler very quickly which did the job. The service was great and he sent us some tips whilst we were away as we are first time hirers. An all round great experience with no faults. Definitely recommend to anyone whos thinking of doing this.

    We hired the Sweeney to go away over Christmas in. The van itself was exactly as described and really well equit for everything we needed it for. Simon himself was super helpful and just a phone call or message away. We absolutely loved our stay and will 10000% be booking again. My partner and mother in law couldnt stop smiling. Thank you for letting us use the Sweeney ! X

We are Leanne, Simon, Mia and Star (our four-legged friend). A little Yorkshire family who love to get away in Sweeney the motorhome and want others to enjoy her as much as we do! Our favourite sites so far have been Holme Valley and Wagtail Park!
