Meet Frankie, a cosy Wildax campervan based in the heart of the Lake District. Perfect for singles or couples who want to slow down and explore the fells, lakes and hidden corners of Cumbria. Dog friendly (small dogs preferred). Frankie is super easy to drive, not much bigger than an SUV, cleverly equipped, and suprisingly spacious. The fun stuff: -Awning -Hot water shower -'Flushing' toilet' -Big oven -Full fridge (even has a tiny freezer) -TV/DVD player Plus the practical stuff: -Refillable LPG tank (easy to fill at petrol station pumps) - Large 100 litre Fresh water tank / 80 litre Waste water tank - Fully winterised water tanks - LED lighting all round - Automatic retracting electric step - LPG heating - Fly screen at sliding door opening. - Good blinds throughout - Rear reversing camera and beepers - Only 2.5m high

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel up to 7 days before the start of the booking and receive a full refund less the cancellation processing fee.
  • Cancel between 7 days and 48 hours before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit.
  • Cancellations less than 48 hours before start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Hi, I'm Sam! Born and bred in the Lakes, I'm a big lover of outdoor adventures. Having hired campers for many years, last year I took the plunge and bought Frankie! Together, we've been to the Alps, all around Scotland, the Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland and the East coast, and he's really looked after me, and been very well-behaved. I'm a solo traveller, with a little dog, so having a van that is easy to drive and park is super important to me. I also like a little space around the bed, so I opted for a non-fixed bed configuration. Having the kitchen at the back means you open the back doors and enjoy your cooking without the lingering smells. I'm always at the end of a text, WhatsApp or phone call to answer any questions or help you find somewhere amazing to camp. I hope you love and care for Frankie like I do!
