The Solly Explorer is best suited to hirers who are comfortable driving larger vehicles or have previous motorhome, campervan or van driving experience. A comprehensive handover will be provided before the start of your trip, and we will also supply video guides demonstrating the key vehicle and habitation features. This allows you to familiarise yourself with the motorhome before departure and refer back to the videos during your holiday if needed. The motorhome comes equipped with kitchen essentials, crockery, cutlery, camping table and chairs, and the equipment needed for campsite hook-up and servicing. Optional extras, including Starlink Mini satellite internet, Cadac Safari Chef Pro BBQ and child seating, are available on request. Airport collection and delivery from Edinburgh Airport may be available by prior arrangement - Please ask. Our aim is to make your experience as simple and enjoyable as possible, so if you have any questions before or during your trip, we will be happy to help.

Hiring rules

  • We want every guest to have an amazing experience with the van, so we ask all renters to treat it with care and respect as if it were their own.
  • Please note: No smoking or vaping inside the vehicle No festivals or large events No pets without prior approval Drivers must be comfortable driving larger vehicles The van must not be taken offroad European travel only by prior agreement Bikes and outdoor equipment are welcome, but we ask that muddy/wet gear is cleaned before being brought inside Please be mindful of the vehicle height (2.92m) and weight restrictions Return times must be agreed in advance to allow preparation for future guests The van is ideal for relaxed road trips, family adventures, hiking holidays, and scenic touring around the UK.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 20 and 45 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
