Additional information

We will supply you with pots of tea, coffee, sugar and milk so that you can refresh upon arrival before you unpack and explore. You will find an information folder which explains how to operate various bits of equipment and shows you where various equipment is stowed, and how to set up/pack down the beds etc.

Hiring rules

• Delivery Caravan will be delivered to a camp site of your choosing. Delivery within 50 miles of Southampton (SO31), charged at a rate of £1.20/mile, this will be reflected in the bill. We are unable to offer a collect and tow service at this time.
• Large awning The hirer has the option to hire a large awning (£40.00 to cover set up and pack down) which comes ground sheet and furniture. There is also a full size annex to the awning that can easily sleep 2+ people this can be added for a small additional fee of £20.00 for the booking (£60.00 total).
• Small awning We also have a lightweight porch awning which you can use for a charge of £20.00 for the booking if you prefer. Furniture can be included if you like, but there is obviously less space than in the large awning (you may just prefer a place to take off your shoes/park a bike etc).
• Furniture The caravan is a flexible space with plenty of seating that converts into beds. If you include the awning we will include 2x recliner zero gravity chairs, 2x fold up camping chairs and a table with the hire.
• Pets Well behaved pets will be considered, but we ask that they are not let up onto the furniture please.
• Cleaning The caravan will be set up, cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival. Please ensure you leave it in the same clean and tidy state as when the hiring began. Any losses and breakages should be reported on the form prior to departure.
• Toilet Most camp sites provide shower and toilet facilities. However our caravan does have its own of each. We would recommend not using the shower, as it involves a lot of filling and emptying the water for each shower. The toilet is a cassette chemical toilet which will be ready to use The hirer is responsible for emptying this before they depart.
• Bedding Please bring your own bed linen to use in the van, as it is not practical to replace the bedding in Covid for each hire. Sleeping arrangements are 2x bunks (top is only suitable for children), and the front can be used as 2x singles or 1x king size bed.
• Equipment Caravan will be set up with fresh water and waste barrels connected. Kitchen is equipped to cater for 4 people, including cutlery, plates, bowls, pans, toaster, kettle, sharp knives and cooking utensils. There is also a hoover and some basic cleaning equipment if you need to use it on your stay.
• Cooking The caravan is equipped with an oven and grill, 3 gas hob and an electric hob. However, as the gas supply is from a bottle the efficiency of cooking is far less than what you might expect from a domestic appliance. Therefore please consider the preparation of your meals carefully we find that we cook on a BBQ most of the time and use the kitchen for veg and salad etc.
• BBQ This is not included in the hire, and we recommend that you check with the site rules if using disposal BBQs as the rules can vary.
• Power supply We recommend using a site that offers an electric hookup to ensure that you can use all of the features of the caravan (including power supply, electric hob, microwave, fridge etc). However the van is equipped with a solar panel and top quality leisure battery which will ensure use of lights and the fridge can be used to run off gas too if required.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.
