Our precious shiny Silver Explorer is too good for just us so we decided to share it with other respectful like-minded people! We have had some amazing holidays in this incredibly luxurious camping van. Our biggest love is that it can not only fit into a Sainsbury's car park, but it also qualifies for the cheap motorways on the continent (as it is under 2 metres high), and above all, you can explore with exciting new ventures easily - and not have the grief of lugging around a massive lorry of a camper van! There are individual spot reading lights in the lounge area, roof sleeping area and front cab. If you are wild camping, you can open the back door and take in the scenery as you wake, or star gaze at night time. The van is very economical, with features such as start/stop, media system radio, sat-nav, electric windows etc. This is a 4 berth camper, with a double bed below where sleeps 2 adults, and the pop top can sleep either 2 kids or 2 adults. Inside there’s a kitchen with fridge sink with water tank, a waste water tank, electric roof, two front swivel seats, loads of storage cupboards, interior and exterior tables, exterior camping chairs, a double gas hob and a gas oven with grill. There’s mains hookup available, including the standard camping hookup long cable and a 3 pin (standard European) plug. The inside of this camper is like nothing you will have seen before, the finish and attention to detail is amazing and it really does feel like you are in a 5 star hotel when you are inside!

Our MarcoPolo has everything in it you can imagine. We’d take the time to show you the campervan so you are confident in every way. Comes equipped with the following amenities - Fridge - Sink - 360 Degree Reversing camera - Radio - Heater - Ample Storage space - 2 Front swivel seats -heated front seats -Air conditioning -2 back seats - USB/3 Pin and 12V Plugs - Large leisure battery charged off the engine when you’re moving with Voltmeter showing when the batteries are getting low. It’s incredibly easy and fun to drive- just like a car!

Hiring rules

  • We really really look after our Silver Explorer and get so much more enjoyment from it as a result! We really hope that you have the same kind of mindset. It is a beautiful campervan that needs to be taken to beautiful places!
  • Please do not wear shoes inside to keep it nice and clean.
  • Peak season (June August) minimum hire is 5 days.
  • The van will be provided with a full fuel tank of diesel, please return it full to avoid additional fees. 
 

The van will be provided clean for your use, we expect it to be returned in the same condition please.


No smoking inside the van, that includes when being driven.
  • Please note that water from the tap isn't drinking water, bring bottled water with you.
  • We will fill the water tank for you.
  • Please dispose of grey waste/other wasters please where campsite indicates.
  • Please use heat proof mats provided for hot cooking equipment and place mats for plates.
  • Do not light candles or matches inside the van.
  • Sorry, pets are not allowed.
  • Insurance requirements: Hirer age restricted to 25 70 years; Driving licences restricted to UK, EU, EEA, AU and NZ; No more than 6 points in the past 5 years for nonmajor offences.
  • Collection is from 3pm and drop off is by 11am please. Overrun of hours is charged at £10.00/hr.
  • Milage is 750 per week (prorata if shorter hire) and 35p/mile for excessive milage.
  • Bedding is charged at £15.00 per sleeping bag and pillow.
  • Bike rack that holds three bikes is charged at £30.00 per hire.
  • Please respect it and drive it with care, park it with care, use it with care, but above all, thoroughly enjoy it!!
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Moderate

  • Cancel earlier than 31 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 11 and 30 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit.
  • Cancellations less than 11 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

I am a family man with a lovely wife and 4 kids. I have had camper vans all my life (since age 17!) & would now like to share this great exciting experience of camping and exploring the beautiful outdoors with like-minded people. We have had great opportunities of exploring some amazing places in Europe in our camper vans. We prefer to go to quieter places - preferably that involves the sea, forests, hills and maybe a few rivers! Having the ability to find somewhere randomly remote and stunning and just bunging on the kettle or getting a cold beer out of the fridge in the camper is just un-matchable! We sometimes go for picnics in the hills less than 1km from our house in our camper- just to feel free.
