Insurance Fred has full comprehensive insurance and breakdown cover for one driver aged between 25-75 years. Any additional drivers (between 25-75 years) will be an additional £8.00 per day. Fred will have a full tank of diesel for when you arrive – please return him full.

Hiring rules

• There is a minimum 3day hire.
• Strictly no smoking in the van/awning.
• Insurance requirements: Hirer age restricted to 25 70 years; Driving licences restricted to UK, EU, EEA, AU and NZ; No more than 6 points in the past 5 years for nonmajor offences.
• One small dog will be considered per booking throws are to be used at all times to help prevent damage to upholstery.
• Campervan is not to be taken oversees please note the van is GPS tracked.
• Fred will have a full tank of diesel for when you arrive – please return him full.
• Inclusive mileage of 100 miles per day i.e: 300miles for a threeday hire / 1000 for a tenday hire (thereafter 50p / mile).
• Pick up time is 3pm onwards on the first day of hire; return by 11am on the last day of hire (unless there is a prior agreement).

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  It is the second time we have rented the van from Louis and Elen. The van is brilliantly stocked with everything you could need and Louis is super helpful and friendly if you have an questions. New fridge lasts a really long time even without electric hook up (which we chose not to use this time). I would highly recommend renting this van (just not when we want it next time!!) Thanks

  We hired Fred the van for a weekend, and the whole experience was brilliant. Fred himself was comfortable, and really well equipped. Louis and Elen were brilliant hosts, everything was explained to us when we picked the van up and they were available for any queries over the weekend.   Brilliant camper van! I would highly recommend. Van itself is lovely to drive and contains everything you would need. We travelled as 2 adults and two tall teenagers and we all fitted (required a bit of jiggling at times!) Really well stocked with equipment and has water and elec hook up. Louis and Elen were super helpful and flexible with the hire. If you need a van I can't recommend highly enough. Thanks
