FreeDom is only a click away. Perfect compact (short wheel base) campervan for the NC500 and all the spectacular locations the Scottish Highlands has to offer. Fully comp insurance is included in the price. For bookings of over a week discount can be arranged! Newly installed Media system, reverse camera , solar panel and professionally crafted interior. FreeDom is a beautifully converted Mercedes Vito, providing you with everything you need for your adventure. Based in Inverness, the heart of the Scottish Highlands, with the NC500 on the doorstep. My campervan is ideal for those looking to venture around this famous route experiencing what the Highlands has to offer. Excellent full efficiency at over 40 mpg on the open road. FreeDom comes with a new Pioneer media system with gps, bedding (duvet, pillows & sheets, sleeping bag £20 fee on request), fridge, sink, Bluetooth speaker, LED lighting, kitchen equipment (outdoor cooking only), cutlery, black out curtains, windscreen black out cover, solar panel for off grid camping and electric hook up for campsites. Pick up and drop off could be flexible on request. Usually Aviemore or Inverness. If you are need to park your car while you are hiring FreeDom, Car parking is also available free of charge. Bicycles, bike rack, Paddle boards, bedding, is available on request for a modest fee.

Bond

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £750.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had a great time with 'freedom' exploring the Highlands, Isle of Skye and Isle of Harris. Simple and easy communication with the host.

    I rented this van for NC500. The engine is reliable. It can go through hairpins in Applecross with no problem. The owner was fast to respond to my queries.

    We had a great time doing the NC500 + extras in FreeDOM. It's a small vehicle, but that also means you can take it to more places. Unfortunately the battery power didn't work for us but we managed ok without it.

    We hired FreeDom to do the NC500 tour. The van was great for this as it's a small enough for some of the single track roads but has good space for 2 people. The van had all equipment we needed. Comms were good with Dom throughout and he gave us detailed info about the van on the day of pick up. Overall very enjoyable experience. Would recommend.

Once a Nomad always a Nomad. I have always had the urge to travel and see the world. I lived and worked in Oman, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam as a high school maths teacher. I moved back to Scotland in 2020 and purchased my beloved Mercedes Vito campervan to explore the wonders of Scotland.
