Meet Dora, a fully equipped, well-spec'd, good looking VW Camper based close to Aldeburgh she is ideally located for exploring the Suffolk Heritage Coast and North Norfolk. The van is a SWB VW T5 and it is the Highline model so it comes with all the creature comforts in the cab: electric windows and mirrors, aircon, cruise control, central locking, DAB radio, Bluetooth, parking sensors, reversing camera etc.

The stylish living area has the following equipment: Fridge with freezer compartment 2 Ring hob Sink and tap West Dubs pop-up roof Rock n roll double bed Integral gas heater 240v Electric hook-up Solar panel Plenty of LED lights and power/USB sockets The integral heater will keep you cosy on the coldest nights so Dora is suitable for use all year round. We can offer off-road parking for the hirer's car FOC, but please note the car will be left at the owner's risk.

Hiring rules

  • The van will be clean inside and out when you collect it, so please return it in the same condition. If the van needs cleaning, then a fee of £25.00 will be charged.
  • No smoking allowed in the van.
  • The van will be supplied with a full tank of fuel so that you can set off on your adventure immediately, please return it with a full tank (if not the cost of filling the tank will be deducted from your deposit).
  • The hirer will get 100 miles per day included in the rate, extra miles will be charged at 40p per mile to cover maintenance costs.
  • Insurance requirements: Hirer age restricted to 25 70 years; Driving licences restricted to UK, EU, EEA, AU and NZ; No more than 6 points in the past 5 years for nonmajor offences.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Moderate

  • Cancel earlier than 31 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 11 and 30 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit.
  • Cancellations less than 11 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

I have owned camper vans off and on for many years now. Dora is my latest van and I am keen that others get to experience the freedom and fun of a camper van escape. I am lucky enough to live in Aldeburgh on the Suffolk Heritage Coast so Dora gets to spend plenty of time by the sea, but she also gets to travel further, especially when I'm away competing in Triathlons and need accommodation (or just somewhere warm and comfortable to change!).
