Our much loved van PJ was registered in 2019 and converted to a high standard in 2020 by FunkyDubz.com. There is a pop up roof for extra height and a bunk bed sleeping two (access is by climbing up from the front seats), plus the rear bench seat folds out into a comfy double bed 'downstairs'. PJ is ideal for couples on their own, or with one or two small children: four adults, whilst possible, would be VERY cosy! The double passenger seat spins round to provide extra seating in the living area. PJ is well equipped for all your cooking needs, but you will need to provide your own towels and bedding please. There are fixing points in the rear for a child seat. For short trips ie a couple of days, you don't need to have booked a pitch with electric hook up, as the leisure battery will power the lights, fridge etc, but if you do want to hook up, a cable is provided. An information folder containing simple instructions (plus a QR code link to a useful YouTube video) will be available in the van, and a full handover will be conducted on pick up. On confirmation of booking, you will be sent a full inventory so you'll know what you do and don't need to bring. You are welcome to leave your vehicle on our drive for the duration of your trip. Pick up and drop off times are flexible, depending on your needs and our availability. If local, you are welcome to come round and see the van before making your decision to rent. Located on the south coast in Bournemouth, PJ is within easy reach of the beautiful New Forest, miles of sandy beaches and the stunning Isle of Purbeck.

There is a guest book in the van - if you have time, I would love to hear of your adventures:) In the info folder there is a map and some stickers - again, I'd love it if you would mark on the map where PJ has been. (Just a bit of fun, not checking up on you!) Available at no extra cost (just let me know): Camping loo (bucket with a seat and lid) Two sun loungers Folding coffee table One child's camping chair New to Camplify in January 2023, I have previous experience of renting PJ out through a different company, where I gained seven 5 star reviews.

Hiring rules

  • No smoking or pets.
  • Please return PJ in a clean and tidy condition, and with a full tank of diesel. Thank you.
  • Mainland UK only please.
  • Insurance requirements: Hirer age restricted to 25 70 years; Driving licences restricted to UK, EU, EEA, AU and NZ; No more than 6 points in the past 5 years for nonmajor offences.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    First time hiring a camper and was surprised how well equipped PJ was. Jo Anne has thought of everything you may need including washing up essentials, tea coffee etc. The van was very clean and organised.
