Homely self-converted Ford transit camper, with a lot of character. Very spacious with ample storage for clothes, food and activities! Big Blue Baloo was a joy to build and an even bigger joy to travel in. A little rough around the edges, and prettier on the inside than out. We think the van is imperfectly perfect, and hope you will too!

Baloo is suitable for two travellers +/- pet. It comes with everything you need for a great trip and the option of hiring some extras too. *please note the bed is 180cm in length - this will impact you if you are taller than 5ft11. Diagonal sleeping may be required*

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had an amazing week away with the Big Blue Baloo. It had everything we need for our holiday and did the job very well. Initially we didnt know what to expect from rough around the edges, but the fact that it has a lot of character just added to a great experience. The side door need to be pushed with some vigour to close, but all perfectly fine. The bed is a bit short but quite comfy. It was a pleasure to deal with Sarah, as she was always helpful and responsive. Would be keen to hop on the Big Blue Baloo again.

    We had 2 wonderful weeks in the Big Blue Baloo, driving to South Wales and SW England. She did not miss a beat. She might be a bit rough around the edges, but has everything you need. Sarah and her parents were great communicators and the van pick up and drop off was very easy. I definitely recommend the van. The fact the bed is static is amazing, but if you are over about 510 and there are 2 of you, you might find the length a tad short.

    The van suited me perfectly and I cant recommend the service provided by Sarah and her lovely parents, who handled the hand over, enough. Very comfortable inside and had everything I needed for a weekend at a music festival. Would rent again
