Beatrix - meaning traveller - is our motorhome and she offers you 'The Freedom To Explore', she boasts front & rear parking sensors and a reversing camera to make manoeuvring easier. She is spacious, well appointed, comfortable and cosy. The rear bed can be used as twin singles or a large double that is 2m x 2.1m the drop down bed is also large at 1.4m x 2.1m. The central bathroom and shower are on opposite sides of the van and, again, spacious. The kitchen is well appointed. Front seating comprises of 2 forward facing seats that have seatbelts an adjustable table and the driver and passenger seats can swivel 180 degrees.

Additional information

Standard specification includes kitchen cooking utensils, saucepans etc. Cutlery and crockery for 4 people, first aid kit, smoke & CO detector, fir extinguisher, cleaning utensils, mattress protectors, satellite TV, outdoor chairs & table, levelling ramps, straps for securing bikes in the garage, roll out sun awning etc.

Hiring rules

  • We try not to have too many house rules but here are some rules that we feel are important.
  • 1. Please send us a copy of the photo card drivers’ licence for all drivers (Address must be current)
  • 2. Please carry out an online licence check just prior to the collection date – copy this URL https://www.viewdrivingrecord.service.gov.uk and send it to us.
  • 3. When you collect our motorhome the diesel tank will be full, please return it with a full tank.
  • 4. The refillable gas bottles will also be full, please ensure they are full on return.
  • 5. If the diesel or gas are not refilled we can refill them, an additional charge of £40.00 plus diesel / gas costs will be incurred.
  • 6. Please ensure that the toilet cassette and grey water tanks are emptied before returning our motorhome.
  • 7. Please respect our motorhome, if we have allowed pets to be taken then we expect that they are not allowed on the seating or beds.
  • 8. A word of caution when filling with diesel, the diesel filler cap is directly adjacent to the passenger door behind a flap and not further down the side of the motorhome.
  • 9. If you break or damage anything, we would appreciate that you let us know on return of the motorhome so we are able to finalise additional costs, if there are any, in a timely manner.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

I live locally to Sherfield English, I'm married and between us we have 7 children and 10 grand children. I work in the caravan & motorhome industry and have been at South Coast Caravans for about 15 years. My wife and I love to go camping even though it's like a busman's holiday!!
