This Ford Grand Tourneo Connect small Mirco camper has it all in one and is bursting with all that you need for a great time away In less than 5 minutes, you can turn this normal-looking 5-seater car into a small micro camper with a bed or eating area. Why not put the backup and sit with the door open watching a lovely sunset or just chilling With it's smaller size than a larger camper van or motorhome this vehicle is perfect for those narrow roads to explore Scotland and the Highlands and Islands. The camper will come with everything you need for a great time away and here is just a few things it will include: Double sleeping bag, bed cover, pillows, towels, kitchen utensils, electric kettle, water tank, bowls, plates, frying, pots, thermal blackout blinds and a portable gas stove (with some gas cans) Also, includes a small portable picnic table and two picnic chairs Plus a fold-up drying rack to dry any clothes (weather permitted) You can go off the grid or hook up with the electric hock socket on the underside of the back The small leisure battery will give you plenty of power to charge your phones, ipads, laptops, lights and many more small appliances and when you're not using it pop the solar panel out to charge the battery up again. You also have a very handy electric cool box to keep all your food chilled when at a site so you can hook this up directly to the mains or when driving plug it into the car (please do not keep plugged in when the vehicle engine is off this will kill the battery) if you can't hook up not to worry food will still keep chilled for hours (time may vary depending on weather and how many times the box is opened) Store some of your things in the 320L roof box that comes included If you feel a little chilly at night we also include a small portal heater (for electric hock only) and blankets The camper also features: AC, DAB radio, Bluetooth, cruise control, portable SAT NAV, automatic wipers and lights The camper is very economical on fuel and a full tank can give you an advantage 550-600 miles (this will vary depending on driving conditions) please, return with a full tank of fuel Note: This vehicle does not meet the euro VI/6 standard and so can't drive in any ULEZ, Low emission Zone or clear zone. For Scotland, this will only apply if you plan to drive in the city centre of either Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh or Glasgow. Getting here: The camper is located in Arbroath. If you’re coming from Edinburgh or Glasgow trains run frequently from both cities to Arbroath train station. If you would like to ask anything else about this please message

The van was well-equipped with cookware etc (though we mostly ate out) and was comfortable for two. It was easy to drive, even on narrow roads, ferries, etc. Graeme was utterly fantastic when I had a small incident (completely my fault) the first day, responding quickly, showing sympathy, helping us sort out towing and shop, and then wishing us well on the rest of our holiday. Above and beyond.

Graeme was super helpful and gave me amazing support and tips. He helped me when my phone broke and helped me find a hotel for my last night. The van is as described. Graeme provided loads of extras like sweets and water. The van has loads of gadgets which are great if you are capable of using them but I am technically incapable so none of that was any good for me. The van itself was good for one person although it could sleep two i think it would be tight. My only criticism is that the mattress is pretty uncomfortable. It comes in several pieces to allow access to different things like cooking facilities and the pieces tend to move around which leaves you lying on the hard surfaces . I would recommend that some Velcro be used to stop the movement. Otherwise I had a good time in the van I slept in it for two nights at a wedding at a Scottish castle. I could not manage the third night. I think the van is great for more experienced campers than I am. It is also great If you are not used to driving a huge vehicle as it is no different to driving a car. A top tip is to bring extra bedding i had an extra sleeping bag but the Scottish highlands are not warm even in the summer. I was freezing. There is heating but I could not work it

I enjoy getting out and exploring new places and I'm very grateful to live in Scotland with all the wonderful places to see on my doorstep and just a short drive to some breath taking views of the mountains and rivers. I would love to share some of that with others so I'm happy to rent out my micro campervan to give others that freedom to explore
