Our 2015 Peugeot Boxer Explorer 2 berth is perfect for couples, inside it has the layout of a motorhome but drives with the ease of a campervan. Based on a Peugeot Boxer, this campervan has 130bhp with a manual gearbox so it’s a pleasure to drive with relaxed cruising but more than enough power to cope with more demanding routes. It also has a reversing camera which makes parking easy. It has comfortable leather seating for travel, with a lounge at the back complete with removable table to make this an area for relaxing or socialising. It also has double doors at the rear so that you can admire the view with your morning coffee and take those obligatory van life photos. It has a diesel heater and a TV/DVD player to keep you warm and entertained on those rainy days. The rear lounge seats easily pull out into a small double bed in a matter of seconds which takes all of the hassle out of bedding down. If you are very tall, things may feel a little snug - myself (6 foot) and my partner (5"9) find we sleep really well. There are several UK plug sockets, some of which work off the leisure battery/solar and others which work off an electric hookup. There are also several lighter sockets and USB charging points for charging your devices. There are tinted windows all round the vehicle so that you can enjoy the view in the daytime whilst maintaining privacy. It has spotlights and curtains which are very quick and easy to close to prevent anyone seeing inside on an evening which can also be set to blue when you are relaxing. In the kitchen area there’s a sink, a two burner gas hob, an oven/grill and ample preparation surfaces. We will set you up with a small welcome pack of cleaning supplies, coffee/tea and biscuits so you can have that all important brew when you stop. Please note there is no microwave in this vehicle. There is a fridge freezer that runs off the mains electricity or the leisure battery and solar off grid for 3+ days (depending on sunshine and general consumption) keeping the essentials (beer and wine) chilled! We will set off your holiday in style with a free bottle of prosecco ready and chilled in the fridge to celebrate your adventure! There’s a washroom basin and toilet (no shower) and a basin which flips down to give more room and make the best use of the water. Off road parking of your vehicle is available for a small fee. We can also discuss local drop off/pick up for a small fee. Nobody want to be worrying about getting back for a certain time after a long trip, or trying to organise setting off according to a pick up time so we are happy to discuss different drop off and pick up times - please just message us details if you need flexibility on these arrangements :)
