Meet Trevor, our lovely VW camper ready for hire. Located in the village of Stilton, next to the A1(M) between Peterborough and Huntingdon. The van is a 2015 T5.1 model and the professional conversion was completed in 2022. The van is fully insured and has breakdown cover. Trevor can accommodate 5 passengers when travelling and can also sleep up to 5. Note - Will not sleep 5 adults, the 5th person must be a small child to achieve "5 berth". With the use of our ingenious roll out front cab bed. This converts the front bench seats into a bed for a child. As long as the child can fit between the cab doors (head to toe), then this bed will provide a comfortable additional bed. The camper has a pop top roof with memory foam mattress. The pop top has scenic canvas, meaning the canvas can be detached all round for unrivaled views of the sunset or stars… a great feature you won’t see on all pop tops. The pop top roof can sleep 2 people. In the rear, the camper is equipped with a rock and roll bed. This certified, crash tested bed provides 2 seats for travel with tri-point inertia seat belts (when in the upright position) and can accommodate 2 for sleeping when folded down. There is also plenty of handy storage underneath. Trevor has a brilliant night heater installed so can keep you snug and cosy even in the winter months. This can be set on a timer so it turns off once you fall asleep. The camper is fully insulated as well. There is a fridge, gas hob and sink with a tap to give you a luxury home from home on the road. We provide a gas bottle (with gas) for you to use free of charge. Trevor’s front passenger bench seat can swivel around to face the rear of the van for socialising and meal times. The detachable table can be set up in front of the rear seats for dining and games. The bespoke, fitted cabinets and work surface provides plenty of room for preparing food and loads of handy storage in the cupboards. There are lights, USB sockets, plug sockets and heating controls, all incorporated into the van. Trevor has a wind out awning fitted to the side of the van, a great addition which gives you a lovely place to set up exterior seating or dining and extra shelter from the elements. You won’t find this great feature on all campers…. A must in our opinion! You will need to provide your own bedding. We supply you with 2 x camping chairs and a picnic table which you can set up under the wind out awning. The camper has fitted curtains all round plus we provide an insulated external windscreen wrap so you will be able to achieve near blackout and 100% privacy should you need to. Also great insulation in winter months. Safety is paramount, so Trevor is equipped with a fire extinguisher, fire blanket and first aid kit. We also provide jump leads, tire inflator and breakdown kit just in case. The gas bottle is stored in a vented storage locker. The camper has an external electric hook up point fitted, we supply you with a hook up cable, so you can tap into external power (where available). On uneven ground, you can use our levelling chocks to level up the camper. Trevor is also equipped with a basic set of pots, pans, utensils, cutlery and crockery.
