Bimble - "a slow relaxed journey" We have a simple approach to hiring our van; it's ready to go and everything is included. All you need to bring are some clothes and food (although you can have your supplies delivered to us and we will stock up for you). Bimble has a fixed rear bed (with bedding if you want) and can sleep 4. There is loads of storage space and the kitchen is fully equipped; cutlery, knives, utensils, cheese grater, bottle and can openers, pots, pans, wok, jug, collinder, plates, bowls, cups, glasses and serving dishes. We also include tea, coffee, squash, washing up liquid, tea-towels and some other niceties. There is plenty of space around the table and we've even provided a few games just in case the weather takes a turn. At the back of the motorhome is a garage, where you will find two chairs, a table, picnic blankets and other camping essentials (electric cable, hose pipe and toilet chemicals). There is still space for your own kit; we often have two sets of golf clubs and trolleys in there as well! When you drive off, the fuel and water tanks will be full and there will be a spare gas bottle. Bimble is easy and comfortable to drive, with cruise control and air-con. Our prices are by the day, bedding is included if you want it and there is no cleaning charge. The price includes insurance and we take a deposit to cover our excess. We do ask that you treat our motorhome with respect so there are some charges for; - Bringing Bimble back without a full tank of fuel - Not emptying the toilet cassette before you return - Not emptying the grey water before you return Please refer to the additional information for full details.

Bimble is our pride and joy and we ask that you look after him . There are some rules we would like you to follow. - No smoking inside the vehicle We will conduct a driving licence check to confirm; - All drivers must be a minimum age of 25 years, and maximum age of 75 years - Drivers must have a minimum of 3 years driving experience Please note that any puncture or damage to tyres / windscreen damage will be chargeable to the hirer. Bimble must be returned with: - A full tank of fuel (charge if not returned full, cost of fuel plus £50.00) - Toilet must be cleaned and emptied (A charge of £50.00 will be incurred if not emptied) - Waste tank must be emptied (A charge of £50.00 will be incurred if returned unemptied) - Bimble must be returned in good condition, clean and tidy with no damage as you collected. - A cleaning charge of £100.00 will be incurred if returned in a dirty /untidy condition. - Bimble has a curfew and must be back within the time frame agreed. A late return will incur a late return fee of £30.00 per hour, and then £60.00 per hour if later than 3 hours.

Cancellations

Moderate

  • Cancel earlier than 31 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 11 and 30 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit.
  • Cancellations less than 11 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    What an absolute pleasure it was to hire Bimble from Doug. The van was immaculate and had everything we needed including some thoughtful extras. The bed was comfortable and it was such a plus to have a toilet on board. Doug went above and beyond in every way and were very grateful to him. Already planning our next camper holiday!

    This was our second hire of Bimble and we took him to the British GP and used one of the campsites a half hour walk from the circuit. Doug had considerately pre cooled the fridge for us so we could transfer all our meat for BBQing and salad stuff straight over. We were able to BBQ every evening and Bimble provided a cosy environment to retreat to when the evening got chilly. We had a great weekend and Bimble was a welcoming place to return to at the end of each day of racing. He was our home from home! We would certainly use this method of experiencing a GP again.
