Meet Gladys, our much-loved 2018 long wheel base VW camper and the perfect companion for your next road trip or countryside escape. Gladys is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The kitchen area includes pots, pans, plates, cutlery and all the essential cooking equipment for your stay. There’s a gas hob, cold water feed sink, kettle and toaster so you can enjoy your morning brew or cook up a hot meal wherever you are. The electric hook up cable is included. Inside the camper you’ll find 3-pin plug sockets and USB ports for convenient phone and device charging. There’s also a working TV which you can use with your own Fire Stick or via the included TV aerial, perfect for cosy evenings in. Gladys seats and sleeps up to four people. The L-shaped sofa easily folds down into a comfy bed and there’s an additional bed in the pop-up roof ideal for children. To help you enjoy the great outdoors we’ve included camping chairs and a table so you can sit back, relax and take in the view wherever you pitch up. Small dogs are welcome, so your furry friend can join the adventure too. A blow-up awning is also available at an additional cost, giving you extra space for storage or lounging. Please note that Gladys will need to be connected to an electric hook-up for her appliances to work properly. Pick-up times are flexible, but we do ask that Gladys is returned by approximately 6pm. If you get stuck in traffic or experience delays, just let us know. Gladys is ready to roll. Just bring your bedding, towels, clothes and a sense of adventure.

Please book campsite pitches with electric hook up Pick up 11 Am and drop off no later than 1800pm so she can get her bath and beauty sleep before the next family picks her up

Hiring rules

  • Martin will give a through induction of Gladys & her facilities
  • No smoking or vaping in Gladys
  • Small dogs are welcome
  • Please keep Gladys clean & tidy, & return her the same way you picked her up
  • Hirers are responsible for tolls, fines & charges whilst hiring Gladys
  • Only mainland Britain
  • No more than 6 points on a license
  • No offroad use
  • No festivals
  • Please make sure the diesel tank is full before returning Gladys
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    The van was fantastic, had everything we could have needed for our weekend away as a family of 4 (we did take a tent for extra room and my partner slept in there because hes tall). Martins handover was great, we got all the info we needed and the van was immaculate. Brilliant weekend, hopefully the first of more Campervan trips. Thanks Martin

    We had a fantastic time with Gladys the campervan. The van is really well-equipped and has everything you could possibly need for your holiday, which made the whole trip so easy and enjoyable. The bed is super comfortable too and we slept really well every night. Martin, the owner, is brilliant. Hes incredibly knowledgeable and was always available to answer any questions we had. You can tell he really cares about making sure you have the best experience. Highly recommended!
