ALMA is compact 6 Meter Campervan conversion by swift. She can be hired as a self drive (DRIVE -Option) or we can deliver to a campsite and setup for you. (STAY - Option (Not insured to drive)) Please be aware we no longer allow use at FESTIVALS She is a very easy vehicle to drive (B license, only) and is based on the Fiat Ducato Van which has a proven record for reliability and comfort. She has 2.3 litre diesel engine with 6 speed manual transmission she can easily be driven and parked in most streets and outdoor car parks, without the added costs of paying for 2 bays this allows easy access for towns and city breaks. The layout comprises of a large rear lounge seating area which can be used as twin beds or into a large double bed. She has a 2 Gas burner hob kitchen with bathroom and shower opposite. Heating and hot water uses a Truma blown air System that can be managed by Gas, Electric or a mixture of both. A 50 ltr Compressor fridge, Electric microwave, ( only on electric hookup)solar panel to replenish the vehicle and 100 amp Lithium leisure battery when wild Camping. Window blinds throughout, fly screens, loose fitting carpets, An electric step and Awning for those sunny days. Alma also has a built on rear cycle rack for 2 Bikes. She has a 93 Ltr onboard Fresh water tank and 58 Ltr Grey water tank (used Water) to allow for longer wild camping periods. Having everything you need, where ever you drive means the vehicle is so versatile that even when visiting friends and family there is no reason to be rushed. Alma could be used as that extra bedroom on family stopovers without impeding on anyone else space and have a base wherever you park.

The kitchen has everything you need - crockery, cutlery, Pans and utensils all included. The washroom has mixer taps on the sink and shower, perfect for those hot / cold showers on those wintry or hot summer days. The washroom also has its own heater vent and hangers for drying wet clothes General accessories included but not conclusive. 1.Electric hook up cable for campsites with 3 pin plug adapter. 2. 2x 6kg Calor bottles 3 Leveling ramps 4.Camping pitch reserve sign 5.Camping chairs x2 6. Hiring rules

  • No Smoking Vehicle
  • UK Use Only
  • Insurance requirements: Hirer age restricted to 25 70 years; Driving licences restricted to UK, EU, EEA, AU and NZ; No more than 6 points in the past 5 years for nonmajor offences.
  • Normal Timings
  • Collection 1400hrs (can be arranged earlier with prior notice at booking )
  • Drop off 1100hrs ( can be arranged later with prior notice at booking)
  • • EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 0330 808 1811 / call the number of the breakdown service provider provided to you / call me!
  • • DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
  • • NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads/ NO Smoking inside
  • • UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.
  • • LONG TRIPS Hirers are welcome to take the van up to an average of 200 miles a day. you will be charged .45p per mile at the completion of the trip from your bond for servicing costs
  • • FUEL Return full of DIESEL All hires include a full tank upon departure.
  • • CLEANING Clean the equipment and Van. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
  • • COOKING/ Heating GAS There are 2 gas 6 kg bottles present and there will always be at least 1 6 kg worth of gas in total included in the price. if you use over 6 kg of gas then a extra Cost of £25.00 will be charged to replace the bottle
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We took Alma on the NC500 up Scotland, there were heating, running hot water, decent size fridge, beds very comfortable, all the equipment you need for your trip, effortless driving, would recommend this van 100%

    Trevor was a great host, no issues at all handovers dead simple, information about the van and demonstration was clear and easy to understand, will definitely go back again.

We have owned various leisure vehicles over the years and traveled across the UK and Europe. Since Covid there has been an increase in the use of campervans and motorhomes and we have been asked for our experiences and advice to help other like minded people. Being in a motorhome or campervan is one of the easiest and cheapest means to so see our Beautiful Country and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we have.
