Hiring rules

• We kindly ask that you please refrain from smoking, no pets and to return the van as you found it and along with emptying the grey waste before dropping van back. Failure to do so will result in a cleaning fee of £50.00
• The vehicle must also be returned with a FULL TANK OF FUEL. Petrol station (Sainsburys) is 1 mile from the property, it accepts card payments only. Failure to do so will result in the charge to refill the van and additional £20.00 inconvenience fee.
• A maximum allowance of a 100 miles per day on a 2 day hire or 750 miles over a week hire any additional mileage is to be charged at 0.30 pence per mile. These charges will be deducted from your deposit.
• Insurance requirements: Hirer age restricted to 28 70 years; Driving licences restricted to UK, EU, EEA, AU and NZ; No more than 6 points in the past 5 years for nonmajor offences.
• A maximum allowance of a 100 miles per day on a 3 day hire or 750 miles over a week hire any additional mileage is to be charged at 0.30 pence per mile. These charges will be deducted from your deposit.
• Collection and return is 4.30pm unless prearranged. Late returns will be charged at £20.00 per hour.
• Any Breakages or Damages to the vehicle MUST be declared on return of the vehicle.
• Costs for damage will either be deducted from your deposit or in the event of an Insurance Claim your deposit will be used for the Insurance.

• Hirer must be 28 years of age or older.

  Sam and Rhys were great hosts - good comms before, during and after the hire and handovers were great. Big B is a lovely van, but being quite old (08 plate) and a self- made conversion, there are some quirks and its not 5* luxury like a purpose built van, but depending on what youre looking for, this could add to the charm. We had a great time away and it was good to practice before considering what type of van wed like to purchase in the future.

  We have just returned the van from Thursday 22nd August - Monday 26th. There is an ongoing dispute with the owner which I will keep separate from review. Communication leading up to booking was fantastic. Handover was ok, we paid extra for early check in all went smoothly. On the first night we had to report an issue with awning and on the Saturday we had to report an issue with the water pump. Unfortunately, on the Saturday the main door also failed which meant we had no water and had to access and exit the vehicle via the drivers side, not ideal. The photos on Camplify are not a true reflection of how the van looks now. It seems that van was much loved when the owners used it but since being a rental its been used and abused by renters with no upkeep or tlc put back into it. We are a couple with a 6yr old son and there was ample space. We used to own a camper so know not to expect a 5* luxury experience but at a bare minimum I would expect things to be clean and in working order. Sadly, this was not the case in our experience and as the owners mentioned, they have had back to back bookings throughout August with only 2 reviews left, this speaks volumes. Maybe it a case that we were very unlucky and things just gave in during our time renting but this experience has not been great. We wouldnt recommend Big B unless she had a lot of remedial works done.

  We had the best time in Big B at Boomtown Festival. We felt right at home. Van was warm and cosy. Great to wake up in the mornings being able to have a cup of tea and a bacon sarnie. We cannot wait to use again. Sam and her partner are so helpful.

  Absolutely loved this van. Had everything we needed in there. Awning was a great touch too. Great communication with the hosts throughout. Would highly recommend!

  The van was fantastic and Sam was a wonderful host! I was nervous as I had never driven such a big van but Sam was very supportive and calming which made the whole thing a lot easier. They were always quick to respond to any questions too! AND THE BED IS COMFY! Theres a window in the ceiling above the bed so you can watch the stars!
